Shipping and Returns

What shipping methods do you use?

All orders are shipped via UPS, Fed Ex or USPS. We ship Monday through Friday, major holidays excluded.

How quickly can you ship?

Nearly all orders placed by 2PM EST, Monday through Friday, will ship the same day (other than Labor Day and other official bank holidays). You'll see a "countdown timer" on almost all products indicating how quickly we'll ship. During severe weather events or other peak holiday shipping periods, please understand our response time may be delayed. For Standard ground delivery, consult the shipping map below.

Overnight Shipping 

Overnight Shipping is sent out Monday-Friday. Orders placed overnight on Friday will not arrive until Monday 

Shipping Delays

Please note FEDEX and UPS are experiencing shipping delays. We will do everything we possibly can to make sure your order arrives on your scheduled delivery date. However, once a package ships, there can be factors outside of our control that may come up.
As a policy, we do not offer refunds for delays caused by one of our shipping partners. That said, we know how important it is for your package to be delivered on time and we will do everything possible to make sure it arrives on time.

When will my order arrive?

While we have control over when we ship it out (unless there's a blizzard or hurricane!), we trust our carriers to get it to its final destination, so we can't guarantee a delivery date - but we'll give you a tracking number so you can keep a close eye on it!

Where are you shipping from?

We're located a few miles from New York City, so if you're on the east coast, regular Ground shipping will be a pretty quick option!

How do you ship perishable items?

During the summer months (usually from June until October, depending on the weather), we will only ship Fruit and Chocolate baskets Monday through Thursday so that the order doesn't end up stuck in a FedEx terminal over the weekend. Melted chocolate is delicious but you probably don't want it to arrive that way. :-)

What does shipping cost?

Our shipping charges vary based on location and items. Additional charges may apply for Saturday delivery and international shipments. Wine shipments may incur an additional $5 weight surcharge.

What terms apply to Free Shipping?

We occasionally offer free shipping as a promotion. Subscribe to our mailing list if you'd like to receive coupons or other special offers!

Do you ship internationally?

Oui! International orders ship via USPS and time in transit will be a function of the destination. Canada: quick! Djibouti: not so much. There are also certain countries we cannot serve, and shipping options will not appear if you attempt to ship there.

Can I ship to a hospital or hotel?

Absolutely, but we can't guarantee that the order will arrive prior to the patient or guest checking out, so we'd recommend you contact the facility to ensure they're on the lookout and can get it to its intended recipient.

Can I ship to a PO Box?

Unfortunately, no - FedEx and UPS (our carriers) only ship to physical addresses.

What's your return policy?

Simple: if you're not completely satisfied, return your order within 15 days for a full refund (minus shipping cost, if any). We're not happy if you're not happy.

Who is the vendor of the alcohol beverages in the gift basket?
For the alcohol beverages included in your gift basket, all orders of alcohol beverages are submitted to, accepted and processed by and fulfilled by the licensed vendor,, except for orders from customers in certain states in which has partnered with another licensed vendor, House of Wine and Liquor. The alcohol beverage portion of any order for a gift basket is subject to review by us or our licensed vendor partner and may be rejected for any reason. The licensed vendor, as applicable, will be responsible for fulfilling all order requests for gift baskets containing alcohol beverages including without limitation receipt of the
purchase price, shipping, returns, refunds, and the payment of any applicable marketing fees.

What states can ship gift baskets with alcohol beverages to?
Due to alcohol beverage restrictions within certain states, we currently only ship gift baskets containing alcohol beverages to the following states: AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, ME, MN, MO, MT, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, VA, VT, WA, WV and WI. We will be closely monitoring any changes to state laws, so if we cannot ship to you yet, we hope to in the future!

Title to, and ownership of, all alcohol beverages passes to the purchaser in the state of our licensed vendor’s location where the sale occurs and the purchaser takes all responsibility for the alcohol beverages being transported from our licensed vendor’s location to their home state. By placing an order, the purchaser authorizes to act on the purchaser’s behalf in arranging for transportation of the gift baskets containing alcohol beverages at the purchaser’s direction. By arranging for transportation of the gift baskets containing alcohol beverages, is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service from, the purchaser is representing that they are acting in a manner
compliant with their local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of alcohol beverages. makes no representation as to the legal rights of anyone to deliver or import any alcohol beverages or other goods into any state. The purchaser is solely responsible for the transport of alcohol beverages and other goods purchased and for determining the legality and the tax/duty consequences of having the alcohol beverages and other goods delivered to the applicable destination. The purchaser represents that they have obtained any
required permission, paid any required fees, are working through properly licensed
intermediaries when required, are legally entitled to take possession of alcohol beverages, and are legally entitled to take quantities ordered, and are not less than 21 years of age. Sales tax on alcohol beverages is applied based on our licensed vendor’s location.

What if I live in a State that restricts alcohol beverage shipments?
Certain states, counties, cities, and towns expressly prohibit the direct shipment of alcohol beverages to consumers and violation of such laws, rules, and/or regulations can be punishable as a misdemeanor or felony. Additionally, some states, counties, cities, and towns limit the quantity and type of alcohol beverages permitted to be shipped to an individual address or individual consumer. Our licensed vendor may reject or cancel any order requests that exceed such limitations. If you have any questions about such local laws, rules, and/or regulations, please contact your local alcohol beverage control agency for further information.

Do I need to be home when my gift basket with alcohol beverages arrives?
Yes. The signature of an adult who is 21 or older is required for the delivery of all gift baskets containing alcohol beverages. An adult or child under the age of 21 may not sign for the delivery. We highly recommend shipping to your place of if you cannot receive an order at home. Customer order requests such as “Please leave on back porch” or “Please leave at front door” cannot be followed.
